Description

Carrera Eyewear – Where Racing Legacy Meets Italian Design About Section Since 1956, Carrera has defined eyewear innovation. Founded by Wilhelm Anger, the brand was inspired by the thrill of the Carrera Panamericana race—and crafted with Davinci‑like precision to optimize performance and lasting design. With pioneering materials like Optyl and collaborations with icons like Porsche Design and Boeing, Carrera has elevated eyewear into a lifestyle of bold expression and enduring quality. Design Philosophy Carrera blends sports DNA with stylistic audacity. The instantly recognizable “C” logo centered on the frame, combined with dynamic flag stripes, evokes motion and individuality. From iconic aviators and shield frames to modern outfit-ready opticals, each pair carries a narrative of fearless design and comfortable engineering. Tech & Materials Innovation in Comfort: Featherweight Optyl frames adapt to your form—plus, newer eco-options like Optyl Touched lean toward sustainability. Superior Vision: Lenses that are thinner, lighter, and more resilient; performance without compromise. Adaptive Fit: Hyperfit hinges, adjustable pads, and ergonomics optimized for real life. Signature Styles You’ll Remember Champion, Safari, Glory II — retro-inspired yet always iconic. Changer 65, Epica II — modern features reimagined for daily interaction like magnetic lens swaps. FlagLab, 5512, 269 — for those who prefer bold silhouettes or vintage charm with integrity. Cultural Legacy From Scarface to Rush, Carrera frames continue to be the go-to for cinematic style. Wearing Carrera isn’t just fashion—it’s a statement of kinetic identity. Named among GQ’s top eyewear brands, Carrera delivers the perfect crossover of sport, media, and street authenticity.
